Raffaella Ponzo hails from Italy, where she got her big break in 1999’s Il corpo dell’anima (AKA The Body of the Soul). Needless to say, her incredible beauty and raw acting talent have taken her far in the industry, catapulting her into the stratosphere of Italian cinematic fame with roles in such films as Tinto Brass Presents Erotic Short Stories: Part 2 – Quattro (1999) and Quartetto (2001) and even the American Martin Scorsese flick Gangs of New York (2002) in which she plays Henry Thomas‘ character’s girlfriend. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Raffaella has done her fair share of nudity. She first captured Mr. Skin‘s attention when she took on a role in 2000’s Voyeur. Sure, it’s chock full of cheesy Italian mood music and indecipherable plots but the many, many sex scenes, including a nice full-frontal complete with close-up muff when she gets it on with another babe, make it worth the watch. But it’s nothing compared to her most explicit performance in Private (2003), known as Fallo! in Italy. It contains real sex acts involving Raffaella, Virginia Barrett, and one of the luckiest lotharios in movie history. Amid the fellatio, cunnilingus, and penile penetration, Raffaella reveals her rack, rug, and rosebud. The triple crown! Unfortunately, Ms. Ponzo stopped showing her poon far too soon. Private is her most recent skin flick, and since then she’s appeared in only three projects: the short film Silenzi Interrotti (tr. Interrupted Silences) (2004), the feature film Inanna Hotel (2010), and the talk show Domenica in (tr. Sunday In). We miss this Roman goddess’ gifts.
